The remains of a community leader in Ado Ekiti, Alhaji Abdulkareem Sanni Anifowose has been laid to rest in an Islamic way.
The community leader who died, yesterday, at the age of 94 was a former Imam of Irona Ado Ekiti Ratibi Mosque.
In his preaching during the burial rite, the Chief Imam Basiri Central Mosque, Ado Ekiti, Alhaji Abdulrazak Akeukanowo expressed the need for people to do good while alive and prayed God to grant the deceased Aljanah fidau and give the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Some of the children of late Alhaji Abdulkareem Sanni Anifowose including, Mr Mustapha Anifowose described their late father as disciplinary, true servant of Allah, lover of all and cheerful giver.
In his condolence message, a relative of the decease, Alhaji Gbamila Adeoye who is the chief Executive officer of Gbamila Trado Medical Centre said late Alhaji Abdulkareem Sanni Anifowose would be greatly miss by friends, family and entire Muslim community.
The funeral programme was well attended by friends, family members and relative of the late Alhaji Anifowose including House of representatives members, Mr Olusola Fatoba, president of League of Imams and Alfas in southwest including Edo and Delta States, Sheik Jamiu kewulere among others prominent people.
