The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa said it will beef up security ahead of the “Timeless” Concert in the state.
Popular Singer and Songwriter, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, revealed that the concert will hold on April 23rd at Tafawa Balewa Square.
He also mentioned that the safety of his fans and hosts at the concert are very prerequisite, thus, involving the police would instill that purpose.
Davido said: “People are really concerned about security and so that is why we are here to let people know that we are putting in measures, collaborating with Lagos State police to secure the fans that come to watch the show, get in and leave safely.
“I also thought that it’s important for us to come because people don’t do this. Artistes wouldn’t come, maybe it’ll just be the organizers that’ll organize some police on the day of the show.”
