Ahead of the November 11 Kogi state gubernatorial elections, former Senate President, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki has thrown support to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP governorship candidate, Dino Melaye.
The former Senate President said this via his Twitter handle @bukolasaraki, the inauguration of the PDP National Campaign Council for the Kogi Governorship Election, headed by the Governor of Osun State, Sen. Ademola Adeleke.
He said, “I know that the good people of Kogi State are eager for change. They are ready for a government that will work for them and not against them. This is why I am confident that Senator Dino Melaye, the PDP gubernatorial candidate, is the man who will bring that change. He is a man of tremendous experience, with a zeal to improve the lives of Kogites.
“I am more than happy to lend my support to his campaign, and I urge all Kogi citizens to do the same.” He added.
