The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has denied trending report of an attempt assassination over his life.
The Governor who described the report as fake debunked the news via a Facebook Live Video revealing that, nothing of such nature happened.
ROUNDOFFNEWS recalled that, a report was publicised on Sunday that Bello escaped an assassination attempt on his way to an official engagement in Abuja which according to a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo affirm the attack.
However, debunking the claim, Bello described it as fake and malicious.
He said, ” There was a minor fracas between the military and the police attached to my convoy. It was resolved within five minutes.”
