Aide to Former President Mohammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, has alleged that the People Democratic Party (PDP) propagated the media confusion on tribunal judgments of the Kaduna Gubernatorial election, and the media failed to verify the information before publishing.
Bashir said this lately on his X handle @BashirAhmaad
The Nigeria Media has reported that the election was declared inclusive. Meanwhile, Premium Times reported that the tribunal has affirmed the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Uba Sani’s victory as the Governor of Kaduna State on the ground that Isah Ashiru of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) could not prove that there were irregularities during the election.
The former Aide said, “The news appears to have originated from the heart of PDP’s propaganda machinery.” He alleged.
Lashing the media, he noted, “I wonder where some of our media outlets sourced their news about the Kaduna state tribunal sacking Gov. Uba Sani. It’s important to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information before going public.”
