The Federal Government, FG said it has provided free unlimited internet services to the public to enhance digital communication, education, and commerce.
This was made known today in a press statement signed by the
Special Assistant to the Honourable
Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, (New Media and Publicity), Yusuf Abubakar.
The statement which was obtained from the Twitter handle of the Ministry, @FMoCDENigeria has that, the free internet service is also made available to public and private higher institutions to upgrade the quality of research and learning, also, the service cuts across markets and airports.
The statement reads: “To further enhance digital communication, education, and commerce, under the leadership of Pantami, the Federal Government has provided free unlimited broadband services to public and private higher institutions of learning aimed at enhancing the quality of research and learning. Similar free broadband services have also been made available to markets and airports.”
