The 2024 Annual Vacation and Roster for Vacation Judges of the Nation’s Trial Courts have been declared by Justice John Tsoho, Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria.

In a statement released to media on Tuesday in Abuja by the Federal High Court’s Assistant Director of Information and Technology, Catherine Christopher, Justice Tsoho said that the yearly vacation for 2024 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, and end on Friday, September 13, 2024.

The CJ claims that this is in accordance with Order 46, Rule 4(d) of the 2019 Federal High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules. He further stated that the Court will reconvene on Monday, September 16, 2024.

In order for the judges to “enjoy their well-deserved rest and to prepare for the tasks and activities of the New Legal year,” Justice Tsoho clarified that the vacation is essential.
