International Youth Day: Youths are Pillars of Development – Falegan

The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has described Nigerian youths as the pillar of the country’s development.

Hon Falegan made this statement through his media aide, Comrade Adewumi Francis, in commemorating with Nigeria youth during the international Youth Day.

He commended all the vibrant and dynamic youths of the country and that of Ekiti State in particular for their courage and determination to build a better Nigeria.

This year’s theme of the celebration was tilled “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development.”

Falegan said, this is a powerful reminder of the incredible potentials youths hold in shaping the future of the country.

He said, “as we celebrate this day, I encourage every youth to fully embrace the digital era and harness the opportunities it presents for sustainable development.”

According to him, “In today’s world, your clicks whether on a smartphone, computer, or any other digital device can lead to significant progress. You have the tools at your fingertips to learn, innovate, and create solutions that can transform our communities. Let’s use technology to address challenges, build networks, and advocate for positive change,” he charged the youths.

The Founder urge the youth not to forget the importance of active participation in the political sphere.

“Your voice, your ideas, and your votes are essential in shaping the policies that will determine the future of our dear country and state.

“Opportunities may come your way whether in education, entrepreneurship, or leadership, never hesitate to seize them,” he urged the youths.

Falegan admonished the youth to be proactive, stay informed, and always be ready to take on new challenges.

The leading Philanthropist in the state added that the future of Ekiti State depends on the active participation and innovative spirit of its youth.
