…as Emure, Ise/Orun, Ikere Joint Security Committee Seeks More Support

The Joint Security Committee, JSC, in Emure, Ise/Orun and Ikere local governments of Ekiti State and traditional rulers in the towns have resolved to lay curses on saboteurs undermining their efforts to fight insecurity in the State.
This formed part of resolutions during JSC meeting held in Emure Ekiti
While commending the State government’s efforts in combating crimes in the local governments, they equally called for more support to nip insecurity in the bud.
The resolutions reads: “Holding of the heads of clan, farmsteads, & communities responsible for any criminal activities in their domains.
“Relocation of the BEDC Electric poles inside the bush to the road side for proper monitoring.
“Sharing of reliable information and intelligence by all stakeholders through mutual and collaborative discussions.
“Prioritizing of security at every strata of government due to the nature of security turbulence in the country now.
“Prohibition of illegal inhabitants of strangers in our land through inducements by strangers.
“Placing curses on saboteurs by the Traditional Rulers, if they failed to desist from their bad habit.
“Engagement of more hands into Amotekun Corps most especially the local hunters who are familiar with the terrain of the forests around them.”
Earlier, the JSC in a communique issued at the end of its meeting, signed by Elder Tunji Falana, JSC Chairman and ACN Daniel Akinyemi, Ag Gen Sec, eulogized the professional advice of late Security Expert, HRM Oba Emmanuel Adebayo Aminmin III.
They commended their bigger financier in 2024 including; Hon. (AVM) Adeniyi Ojuawo (Rtd), Ise-Ekiti Sons and Daughters in diaspora and Ise/Emure Grammar School, Old Students Association.
