Former Aide to President Mohammad Buhari, Barshir Ahmad, has said the increasing cost of dollars is affecting almost everything.
The former Aide lamented via his Twitter handle @BarshirAhmaad while commenting on the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN monetary policy.
According to him, the unstable cost of dollars can skyrocket the cost of goods and services and transportation.
He said, “The volatility of the dollar in the market has far-reaching impacts, affecting almost everything. Fluctuations can influence prices of goods, travel expenses, and economic stability.”
Also, Barshir commended the effort of the CBN to stabilise the currency “Great to read that the CBN plans to take new measures to stabilise the naira against the dollar.”
