Congratulates Oyebanji Over Election Victory
The Chairman, Agbeyewa Farms, Mr. Niyi Olajide has promised to use his wealth, expertise and connections to facilitate better growth, progress and socio-economic development of Erinmope-Ekiti.
Olajide who spoke during the coronation ceremony of His Royal Majesty, Oba Sunday Aikuirawo Aniyi in Erinmope-Ekiti, Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti affirmed that the development of Erimope remains his top priority and preoccupation.
Olajide, a distinguished son of Erinmope-Ekiti who doubled as the Chairman and Chief Launcher at the event, said the development drive of Erinmope-Ekiti is a collective responsibility of everyone to actualise.
He described the emergence of Oba Sunday Aikuirawo Aniyi as God ordained and a blessing to Erinmope-Ekiti, both indigenes and non-indigenes.
The President and Chief Executive Officer, Axxess Technology Solutions, a global healthcare software technology company based in Dallas, USA, expressed optimism that the reign of Oba Aniyi would bring about the desired peace, unity and socio-economic development.
“Your emergence has received God’s favour and acceptance by the entire Erinmope-Ekiti sons and daughters.
“The reign of our Kabiyesi will experience more unprecedented achievements that has never happen in our community,” he said.
The philanthropist who expressed profound happiness as a proud son of Erinmope-Ekiti said, “my story embodied everything that is possible in Erinmope-Ekiti.
“I’m a proud son of Erinmope-Ekiti and almighty God that made this process possible will usherin more development into our community,” he said.
Olajide promised to extend his community engagement projects spread across Ekiti to Erinmope-Ekiti in order to bring the desired development more closer to the people at the grassroots.
He congratulated the state Gov-elect, Mr Biodun Oyebanji on his emergence at the governorship poll, the Obaleo of Erinmope-Ekiti on his coronation and Erelu Bisi Fayemi, wife of Gov. Kayode Fayemi on her instalment as the Yeye Oba of Erinmope-Ekiti.
It would be recalled that the Agbeyewa organisation, a US based group founded by Olajide had few weeks ago donated some set of computers to Ekiti State House of Assembly.
Gov. Fayemi, in his remarks, described Olajide as an illustrous son of Erinmope-Ekiti with unequal passion for it’s growth, progress and socio-economic development.
“He has been useful and assisting our government in so many ways across the state, as times goes on people will begin to see his impact and contributions toward the development of our dear state.
“I want to say Erinmope-Ekiti is blessed to have a son in person of Niyi John Olajide who has been doing a lot for the betterment of our state and more importantly his cherished community,” Gov. Fayemi added.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, in his remarks, described the new Obaleo of Erinmope-Ekiti as a blessing to his community and the inhabitants.
He said Erinmope-Ekiti remained an integral part of towns and communities that had their lineage and source from Ife, the cradle of Yorubas.
The Ooni later performed the conferrement of the Yeye Oba of Erinmope-Ekiti on her Excellency, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, wife of Gov. Kayode Fayemi.
Contributing, Oba Sunday Aikuirawo Aniyi, described the coronation as a new dawn in Erinmope-Ekiti.
He appealed for more government presence in the community in order to boost it’s socio-economic development.
Oba Aniyi said the community was presently at the cusp of renewal and rejuvenation that will reposition it as a major centre of learning, commerce and culture.
He called for the reformation of traditional Institution to be more functional, relevant and resourceful.
No fewer than 15 distinguished personalities were honoured with conferrement of Chieftaincy titles at the coronation which also witnessed the launching of N600 million appeal fund toward the development of the community.
