The newly elected Governor of Abia state, Alex Otti has assured Abia of good governance saying that he will use every God-given attribute to serve the people.
The new Governor said this few hours after his inauguration via his official Twitter handle, @Alexorriofr.
“Today, I will enter into a new social contract with Ndi Abia. While I pledge to use every attribute that God has given me to serve you, I would also demand from you some sacrifice.”
Abia state is among the states that opposition took over in 2023 governorship elections.
Alex is the only Labour Party candidate that won the 2023 Gubernatorial race, he won against the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Okey Ahaiwe backed by the immediate former Governor of the state, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
