The Chairman, Irede Local Council Development Area, Ipoti-Ekiti, Honourable Olugbenga Abobade has promised to use the meagre resources available in the council to embark on more development projects that will have direct positive impact on the people.
Honourable Abobade made the promise while inspecting some of the projects undertaken by his administration across towns and villages in the LCDA.
The Chairman said the growth and development of the residents of Irede Council area remained paramount to him, hence he would continue to prioritize their well-being.
Some of the completed Projects executed by the Chairman of Irede LCDA Ipoti Ekiti include construction of 10 units of lock -up Shops at Sabo market, lpoti Ekiti, construction of 100 meters concrete block line drainage in front of the 10 units of lock -up Shops at Sabo market.
Others include construction of another 100 meters concrete block line drainage along health centre, Odo Owa Ekiti, purchasing and installation of 50 units of solar powered street lights across communities in Irede LCDA, renovation of offices and purchasing of modern furnitures to accommodate officers of the council.
According to Honourable Abobade, some of the ongoing projects include construction of 6 units of lock -up shops at Sabo market, lpoti Ekiti and resuscitation of local government oil palm plantation located at Eisinkin Farm Odo Owa-Okeila road, lpoti Ekiti.
The Council Boss pointed out that many of the projects undertaken by his administration would soon be inaugurated .
The Irede LCDA Chairman commended Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for his support towards the growth and survival of various local governments in the state through periodic release of funds for them.
He urged the people of the area to give the needed support to the administration of the Governor, also calling on them to continue to pay their taxes regularly.
