People of Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti South Senatorial District and its environs on Thursday trooped out in large number to declare their support for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for the seat of the Ekiti South Federal Constituency one Mr. Henrich Akomolafe.
The Ikere born politician was received along side leaders of the party, led by a former governor of Ekiti State, Chief Ayodele Fayose.
Speaking separately with newsmen, the people confirmed that their support for the 30year old candidate was due to the confidence reposed in his ability to bring a positive change to the system.
Addressing the crowd Chief Ayodele Fayose urged people of the constituency to vote for the young man so as to enable him use his energy to attract dividend of democracy to the area.
Earlier, Henrich Akomolafe promised to give robust representation to the people and facilitate great developmental projects to the constituency if given opportunity to serve.
