I Won’t Disappoint Ekiti People…Ekiti Governor Elect Oyebanji Restates Commitment to Good Governance

The Ekiti State Governor-elect, Hon. Biodun Oyebanji has again vowed to serce the state diligently with the fear of God so as to justify the confidence reposed in him.

According to Oyebanji, his vision is to ensure that people of the state have access to good governance and basic needs of life that would encourage investment and boost the economy.

The Governor-elect who spoke during a Thank You Tour to the Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Ekiti State Council appreciated the media professionals for their support and display of professionalism before and during the election.

He promised to work with men of the pen profession in order for his administration to record success.

Mr. Oyebanji  said any government that wants to succeed must be friendly with Journalists.

He noted that constructive criticism from Journalists would guide him in decision and policy making.

Mr Oyebanji pointed out that the visit was to appreciate the Journalists for their support and professionalism before and during the governorship election.

He pledged that an Ultra modern press centre would be constructed for the use of Journalists in the state.

Earlier, the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council, Mr. Rotimi Ojomoyela pointed out that the Governor-Elect had been supportive of the union even before he was elected.

Mr. Ojomoyela assured the Governor-elect that the union would give his administration the needed support to achieve success.
