Former Senator, Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has said that even if the People Democratic Party, PDP National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu has stepped down before the election it would not have change the fate of the party.
Shehu said this today via his verified Twitter handle, @ShehuSani.
Recap, before the election the PDP has clashed in its camp for zoning the Presidential ticket to a northern Candidate, Atiku Abubakar which is the major debate of the G5 Governors. Hence, the G5 seeked for a Southern Chairman which demands that Ayu, a Northerner, Benue should step down.
However, the Former Senator, said, “the fact is that even of Ayu had stepped down before the election, nothing much could have changed; because those opposed to him were also struggling to survive and at the end could not help themselves much.”
