The Idoma Community living in Ado-Ekiti has joined well-meaning Nigerians to felicitate the Ewi and entire residents of Ado-Ekiti on the 2025 Udiroko festival.
This was contained in a statement in Ado-Ekiti on Monday by Oyigocho Otache, Ochidoma, Agabaidu 1 of Ekiti State.
The group extended their heartfelt congratulatory message to the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo, his wife, the Ewi-in-Council and Ado-Ekiti residents for marking another auspicious festival.
Oyigocho Otache noted that the festival affords the people another opportunity to celebrate their heritage in a grand style adding that the people of Idoma are solidly behind the Ewi in this epoch-making historical event.
According to Agabaidu, “We’re seriously grateful for the fatherly love the kabiyesi has for the Idoma people in Ado Ekiti. May God Almighty grant your majesty long life and reign longer in good health than your forefathers.”
Recall that the nine days festival started last week, with the grand finale slated for 21st of August and a thanksgiving on Sunday to cap off the week-long event.
