Ido Ekiti, the hometown of Hon.Cyril Fasuyi, the All Progressives Congress Candidate for Ekiti North Senatorial District was a beehive of activities as the Senatorial hopeful hosted selected elders from the towns and showered gifts such as clothes, food items and cash to them to celebrate the yuletide seasons and New Year.
The elderly citizens in their hundreds, both male and female were hosted at the Olojudo of Ido Ekiti palace, with His Majesty, Oba Ayorinde Iloro Faboro and some of his High Chiefs in attendance..
The Senatorial Candidate, Cyril Fasuyi was represented by the High Chief Saade of Ido Ekiti, Kester Layokun who showered encomiums on Cyril Fasuyi as a great philanthropist and a man with milk of human kindness who always remember to share his substance with elderly citizens, widows, vulnerable and less privileged people. He noted that Fasuyi has made it his trademark to always provide for his people which stands him out as a precious son of the soil to Ido Ekiti community..
Kabiyesi Olojudo used the occasion to pray for electoral victory of Fasuyi in the coming election because according to Kabiyesi, “he will always make us proud” He urged all sons and daughters of Ido Ekiti to vote massively for Cyril Fasuyi.
It was also a carnival of a sort at another venue of celebration for the Youths of Ido Ekiti that converged at “Ewe Relaxation Center” to dance and savour the tastes of the foods , drinks, asun and fish berbecue provided for the Youths to celebrate the season.
The Youths spoke glowingly on the sterling qualities of Cyril Fasuyi for always identifying with them. According to them, ” Cyril has helped many Ido youths to secure both state and federal jobs with his resources in the past apart from assisting most of them to float small and medium scale business.
The youths promised ‘operation totality of votes’ for all Apc candidates in the forthcoming election.
