A stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Hon Bunmi Adeyanju has called on residents of the state to go out and collect their permanent voters’ cards ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Hon. Bunmi Adeyanju who made the call while celebrating his birthday with some of his loyalists said such would give them opportunity to exercise their franchise and contribute to good governance.
Hon. Adeyanju who is a native of Agbado Ekiti explained that it was their voters’ cards they would use to elect leaders of impeccable characters during the poll, hence the need to obtain it.
He also used the opportunity to canvass votes for presidential candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Candidate of the party in Ekiti North Senatorial District, Prince Funso Ayeni, South, Senator Biodun Olujimi, Central, Hon lateef Ajijola and other candidates of the party for House of representatives and Assembly.
The PDP stalwart enjoined residents of the state to come out in their large numbers during the elections and cast their votes for PDP candidates, saying the party had what it take to solve all the challenges confronting the nation.
Hon. Adeyanju noted that APC had nothing to offer Nigerians, hence the need to vote for Alhaji Abubakar and other candidates of the party during the elections.
He used the forum to call on all the party members in SDP to come back in order to ensure success of PDP during the elections and commended leaders of the party across the state for holding forth.
