Governor Oyebanji’s Victory at The Tribunal, Victory For Ekiti People

An All Progressive Congress party stalwart and Lawmaker representing Ise/Orun Constituency at the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Ayodeji Ajayi has described the nullification of the suit challenging the victory of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji at the Election Petition Tribunal in Ado Ekiti as the Lord’s doing and victory for Ekiti people.

The Lawmaker also expressed joy over the confirmation of the Deputy Governor’s certificate as authentic by the judgment delivered by the Justice Wilfred Kpochi led Election Tribunal.

Hon. Ajayi who congratulated the Governor, Deputy Governor, the All Progressive Congress party (APC) and the immediate past governor of the state, Dr. Kayode Fayemi on the well deserved victory over the case filed by the Social Democratic Party and it’s guber flag bearer, Engr. Segun Oni, stated that the tribunal ruling has further confirmed the love Ekiti people has for the APC and the reflection of the votes cast for Governor Oyebanji at the October 2022 governorship election.

The revered lawmaker who is also the Deputy Chief Whip of the House and the Chairman, House Committee on Governor’s Office, Government House and Constituency Outreach, said the victory is an indication of a new hope for Ekiti and opportunity for the government to unfold what it has for the people.

He pledged the continuous support of the entire people of Ise/Orun to the Oyebanji led Government, the party at large and promised to reciprocate the votes delivered by his constituents during the last governorship election for the Presidential, Senatorial and the House of Representatives candidates of the All Progressive Congress party in the February 2023 election.

He however appealed to all and sundry to join hands with the administration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to further move Ekiti to higher ground.
