The Gospel music industry is mourning the loss of a renowned singer, Ajayi Aduke Morounkola, popularly known as Aduke Gold.
This was confirmed by a fellow gospel star, Esther Igbekele, on Tuesday morning, writing on social media, “A GENERAL HAS FALLEN. ADUKE GOLD RIP”.
The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
Aduke Gold, who began her professional music career in 2004, rose to prominence after captivating audiences with her live performance at the first remembrance event for the late gospel artiste, Baba Ara.
The singer who was the eleventh child of her late parents, grew up in the Ogba and Badagry areas of Lagos.
