The Chief Executive Officer of Gbamila Trado Medical Centre, Alhaji Gbamila Adooye, has paid a heartfelt tribute to his late father Pa Rabiú Onikokoko as the family commemorates 20 years since his passing.
Pa Rabiú Onikokoko, who passed away on August 27, 2006, is remembered as a loving father, wise counsellor, provider and a blessing to many.
Twenty years after his death, his legacy continues to live on through the values, memories and positive impact he left behind.
In a remembrance message, the CEO of Gbamila Trado Medical Centre, Alhaji Gbamila Adooye described his late father as a man whose life represented love, wisdom, sacrifice and service to others.
According to him, while time may have passed, the love, values and beautiful memories left by the pa Rabiu Onikoko remains firmly etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
“A life well lived leaves a legacy beyond time,” Adooye said, stressing that late Pa Onikokoko’s contributions and exemplary life would continue to inspire generations.
He prayed for the continued repose of the deceased’s soul and comfort for the family, noting that although Pa Onikokoko may no longer be physically present, his memory and legacy remain alive in the good works and lives of those he left behind.
The 20th anniversary remembrance is an opportunity for family members, friends and associates to honour the life and enduring legacy of a father, counsellor, provider and mentor whose memory remains cherished.
