FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES AND THE FOUNDATIONS OF OUR LIVES…BY PROPHET OMITADE

By Roundoffnews

Human beings are in different forms, acts and mentality. The Bible tells us that we are from the same source; Adam & Eve.
From Adam, in our numerous numbers, we have evolved into varieties of acts and arts that are difficult to conceptualize. One will mistakenly assume it is the explosion in human population that breeds the various complex human behaviour. This however could be both vague and vain assumption.
Almost everybody is a product of a vital institution known as family. The purpose of the family aside from both procreation and feeding is for socialization. The society itself has regulatory principles and mores that give approval to human conduct.
The first question one could ask from the the foregoing is, what is the quality of instructions given to each and everyone in the respective families? It is a known fact, that money, status, position, education, tribe, religion, hometown, country of origin, etc do not determine the quality of human beings or the families. What determines our qualities are fundamental principles that form the bedrocks of our lives from the various homes? This is the reason why the Bible in Prov 22:6 says “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. It is unfortunate these days the type of training and upbringing most families impact in their children.
How many parents can truly differentiate their right hand from the left?
Societal demands and the rat race for survival have erased the fundamental principles of Godliness from the diaries of several families. The Bible in Proverbs 1:7says ” the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction”. Most families have thrown caution to the wind simply because they are envying other families. Truly, it is not bad to desire to be like other people but every thing must pass through normal process. Nobody wants to have anything to do with normal process because it is dogmatic, slow and pale. Whereas the basic training in the right source is embedded with both native wisdom and intelligence that shape and moderated humble and obedient children to exalted personalities! In not too distant past, everybody in the neighborhood; male and female, relatives or even outsiders take part in the socialization process of every child. Acts like pilfering, theft, cursing affray, lying, fornicating, etc are sternly frowned at while honesty, obedience, truthfulness are generally approved conducts. Each adult in the community has at liberty to spank any errand child without questioning in as much as it is part of discipline for wrong behavior. These days are ‘civilized’ periods. No one dare confront another man’s kid over any misdemeanor how much more introducing corporal punishment. School teachers are even warned by their respective principal or proprietors against beating up any child. Parents these days go to several schools where their children are reviled by the teachers through the strokes of cane to warn the teachers on even beaten them up as reprisals.
We have a lot of work to do these days to walk back to the path of sanity.Almost every home, village, town, tribe even state has fundamental principles that are at variance with the general norms and expectations. Honesty has become a crime. obedience is no longer a generally rule. Almost everybody has an exceptional rule to go against the law. The road to our economic and technological development is not far only if all of us could inbibe the culture of obedience and honesty. God bless. Shalom.
