Founder of Silverbird Television Group, Ben Murray-Bruce has tasked the Federal Government of Nigeria, FG, on the need for an immediate distribution of free condoms and other contraceptives to Nigerians.
The Former Bayelsa East Senator said this via his Official Twitter Account @benmurraybruce today.
According to him, the state of Nigeria Economy is deepening as such, ensuring adequate accessibility to contraceptives would assist in controlling population explosion.
He said, “In light of the deepening economic challenges that Nigeria faces, which have gravely impacted the middle class and exacerbated poverty levels, it is imperative for the incoming Minister of Health or the Federal Government to launch a free condom distribution initiative immediately.”
Also, Stating reasons for recommending an immediate and accessible distribution of contraceptives, Ben stated that, controlling the population is the only way to avert future economic catastrophe.
