FUEL SCARCITY:TOUGH TIME AWAITS ERRING PETROLEUM MARKETERS IN EKITI AS ARINKA ASSUMES OFFICE

The newly appointed chairman of the Petroleum Products Regulations Consumer Protection Agency, Ekiti State, Mr. Odunayo Arinka has officially assumed office with a call on petroleum marketers to shun all unwholesome practices.

Addressing newsmen in Ado Ekiti, Arinka appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the confidence reposed in him with a promise to serve diligently.

He said the act of hoarding fuel, diversuon, selling of adulterated fuel and selling above pump price will attract serious sanction.

According to him, the agency will not fold its arms and allow any petroleum matketer to inflict hardship on the people.

Arinka noted that the agency would soon embark on monitoring to ensure that filling stations operate in line with global standard.
