A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Bimbo Daramola has release the official burial arrangements for his late father Chief FA Daramola who died recently at the age of 99.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, the son of the late patriarch, Bimbo Daramola, the ceremony will begin on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 with the corpse departing the mortuary at 9:00 a.m. and lie in state at the Anglican Event Hall, Ado-Ekiti from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for tributes and last respects by groups and well-wishers.
Daramola confirmed that the body will later depart the hall to his residence for the final time while on Thursday, July 9, 2026, there will be a procession move from his Onigari GRA residence in Ado-Ekiti at 9:30 a.m. for a Commendation Service at All Saints Anglican Church, Opopogbooro, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The cortege will make a stopover at the Oye Local Government Secretariat between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. before proceeding to Ire-Ekiti for a wake-keeping service at his residence, which will be conducted by St. John’s Anglican Church from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The funeral, internment, and outing service will hold at St. John’s Anglican Church, Ire-Ekiti on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with entertainment of guests holding simultaneously.
Bimbo Daramola added that a thanksgiving service will hold on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at All Saints Anglican Church, Opopogbooro, Ado-Ekiti to round off the obsequies.
