A former Chairman of Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Ekiti State Chapter, Emmanuel Oke has joined well-meaning Nigerians to congratulate former Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi on his 61st birthday.
Oke, in a congratulatory message, eulogised the former governor for his impactful leadership during his tenure in office.
The former NUT Chairman described Fayemi as a visionary leader who exemplified purposeful leadership in ensuring quality education and teachers’ welfare during his tenure in office.
Oke recalled that Fayemi’s tenure was characterised by tremendous achievements including; the upgrade of schools for quality education to school children, regular payment of salary and housing loans to teachers in the state.
While describing him as an elder statesman and leading political figure in the state, the former union leader prayed for God’s continue guidance and protection.
