A former Chairman of Ikoke Local Government, Hon. Adeyeye Adeyanju has stressed the need for residents of Ekiti State to vote for presidential candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Candidate of the party in Ekiti North Senatorial District, Prince Funso Ayeni and other candidates on the platform of the party.
Hon. Adeyanju made the call in his home town, Ikole Ekiti while telling some group of people how PDP would change the fortune of the country for better.
The former council boss lamented over the various challenges facing the nation such as kidnapping, killing, ill economy, unemployment among others .
Hon Adeyanju assured Nigerians that PDP had the required experience to find lasting solutions to the challenges, hence candidates of the party should be voted for in Ekiti State.
Speaking on the candidate of the party in Ekiti North senatorial district, Prince Funso Ayeni, Hon. Adeyanju noted that he is the only candidate that can bring government closer to the people and urged people of the district to vote for him during the poll.
He also used the forum to appeal to residents of Ekiti State to ensure they collect their voters’cards in order to be able to return PDP back to power
