FG TO INCREASE MINIMUM WAGE SOON

…says government has saved 1trillion from fuel subsidy

President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has promised to increase minimum wage of workers very soon.

In a Nationwide broadcast, Tinubu said his government is talking to labour on what to offer, saying what ever is agreed on, government will make necessary budget for immediate implementation.

He said Government would provide buses and give out loans to manufacturing companies and small scale businesses to boost the economy.

The president promised to do everything to make life better for Nigerians.

Tinubu noted that within two months, goverment has saved 1trillion naira which he said would be invested in infrastructure, governance and other sector to cushion effect of subsidy removal.
