The Nigerian Federal Government is set to commence a quarterly assessment on the performance of the 48 newly appointed Ministers.
The assessment which is slated for January to enable the ministers receive their budget for the 2024 fiscal year was revealed by the Special Adviser to the President on Policy Coordination, Ms Hadiza Usman in an interview on TVC Television on recently.
According to her, the annual scorecard would be reviewed during the periodic retreats where performances would be assessed against key performance indicators.
She said, “We’re looking to commence an assessment of the respective ministries in January 2024. We’re going to have a quarterly assessment of performance which would culminate into an annual scorecard.”
