

…dedicates awards to Hon Olubumi-Ojo, Immigration Comptroller General
An Ekiti-born Immigration Attaché at the Nigerian Embassy in Spain, Mr Ayotunde Adigun has been honored with an Award of Excellence by the Federation of Nigeria Communities in Spain for his outstanding services to Nigerians living in Spain.
This is his second award this year, having previously received the “Most Accessible Immigration Attaché in the history of the embassy” award from the Nigerian Union in Vitoria Gasteiz, Spain on January 16, 2026.
The recognitions were bestowed on him by Nigerian communities in Spain and Nigerian Union in Vitoria Gasteiz, Spain due to his outstanding performances and dedication to duties as immigration Attache.

Receiving the awards, Mr Ayotunde Adigun said it would spur him to be focused and do what is right to ensure that every Nigerian in Spain have access to necessary information that would be of benefit to them as immigrants in Spain.
The Immigration Attache expressed happiness that his clear-cut vision and commitment to redefining Public Service to Nigerians in diasporas had started yielding fruits in just one year of his assumption of duty as Immigration Attache at Nigeria Embassy in the kingdom of Spain.
Mr Adigun promised to keep improving on delivery of Immigration related services to Nigerians in the kingdom of Spain and credited his success to the support of Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. OlubumiTunji-Ojo, and Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Service, Mrs Kemi Nanna Nandap.
He therefore dedicated the awards to the Honourable Minister Of Interior and the Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Service for the opportunity and conducive environment creating for him to perform his duties effectively
