More encomiums have continued to pour in on the emergence of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, BAO, as the governor-elect of Ekiti State.
In a statemen in Ado-Ekiti, on Monday, the Director-General, BAO Campaign Organization and the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senatorial Candidate, Hon. Cyril Fasuyi said that the outstanding qualities of Oyebanji earned him victory at the poll.
While commending Ekiti electorates for ensuring a hitch free exercise, he extolled the leadership qualities of Governor Kayode Fayemi that also paved the way for BAO’s emergence.
The statement read: ” The brilliance, humility and outstanding qualities of BAO earned him the people’s mandate. I enjoined him to make service delivery and people’s welfare as priority of his governance.
” I commend His Excellency Dr. Kayode Fayemi for breaking the jinx of continuity in Ekiti politics. I have no doubt in my mind that the good and laudable programs initiated by Dr. Fayemi will continue for the benefits of Ekiti people
“I thank Ekiti electorates, party leaders and general public for the peaceful conduct of the election. Ekiti project must be sacrosanct to all irrespective of party differences.”
