The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan, has condemned assault on some of the medical Doctors and health workers at Ekiti State Teaching Hospital Ado Ekiti by some alleged bereaved relatives of a patient yesterday.
The Founder condemned the act while describing the incident as barbaric and uncivilized.
He warned that his Foundation frowned on such act adding that, such act would no longer be tolerated.
According to him, such barbaric acts on any of the medical and health workers would not be accepted he warned.
Falegan gave the warning in a statement signed by himself.
He urged the management of the hospital to strengthen its security network to forestall future occurrence.
Meanwhile he called on the state government and Nigeria Police Force to thoroughly investigate the incident and bring the culprits to book.
