… concerned citizens urge government to investigate the matter
The attention of the Ekiti State Government and relevant authorities have been drawn to the alleged brutalization of a young student by an examination invigilator working with the West Africa Examination Council.
The invigilator name withheld was said to have used heavy stick to beat up the student during an examination at Ado Community High School, this inflicting serious injuries on her.
The student, Ayelemi Adesewa who could not bear the pain was seen weeping profusely and groaning in pain after the teacher dehumanized her.
The situation attracted teachers, students and even management of the school who all condemned the action of the invigilator.
Roundoffnews.com gathered that the school management have failed to produce identity of the invigilator so as to cover up the devilish act.
A footage obtained by Roundoffnews showed the student with blood all over her body as a result of the injuries inflicted on her by the invigilator.

At the moment, the Gender Relevance Initiative Promotion GRIP has taken up the matter but concerned persons were said to have been making moves to frustrate the effort of the organization.
Meanwhile, some concerned persons in the state have appealed to Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his wife, Dr Olayemi to investigate the matter and ensure the invigilator is brought to book.
Efforts by Roundoffnews.com to get the reaction of the school principal was unsuccessful as he was not authorized to speak while the ministry of education is yet to get a commissioner who could be best to respond to such case.
Findings however shows that the case has been reported to the ministry of Education by GRIP but nothing much has been done so far.
GRIP also reported the matter at Okesa Police Station but some powerful forces are preventing the victim and her parents from cooperating with the police on investigation of the matter and necessary actions.
Stakeholders appealed to the Commissioner of Police, Dare Ogundare to take a cue from the Oyo State skit case and rise up to arresting the invigilator with or without the victim parents’ support, as the interest of the child and justice is paramount.
