Excitement as Treasure House Children’s Club Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Grand Style

It was an atmosphere of glitz and glamour as Treasure House Children’s Club (THCC), Ado-Ekiti, celebrated her 10th year anniversary in a grand style.

Speaking at the event on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti, Founder of THCC, Barr. Mrs. Kolawole Rachael Yetunde, charged everyone to inculcate learning in every child adding that it is part of a child’s foundation.

She elaborated on the establishment of the Eunice Modupe Ojo Memorial Education Support Initiative saying that about 38 pupils/students benetted annually from partial/full scholarship to cover their tuition fees, school outreach programmes to primary and secondary schools in Ado Ekiti.

She further revealed their achievements to include; establishment of Kiddies Academy in January, 2018 and the establishment of a High School in September, 2022 where children are provided quality education at affordable fees while also exposing them to special training/classes in music, chess, french, diction, public speaking and Bible study, among others.

However, to encourage children from many angles of learning, nine contestants qualified for the finals at the talent exhibition, which featured orchestra and music respectively, with the tag: ‘My talent for God’,

Ogunsuyi Daniel emerged first for instrument and Faith Ajisafe Oluwatoyin emerged first for the singers.

She however, appreciated God, all the guests, parents, staff, partners and pupils/students, well-wishers and everyone who have labored to see the club grow, as newly appointed prefects were inaugurated.

In her words, “To my dear husband, I thank you specially for supporting me and the vision all the way, without your support, we won’t have achieved much.To my adorable and lovely children, both biological/adopted and all the children of the Treasure House family for encouraging us all.”

In the mode of celebration, the birthday of the founder was marked and Mrs. Peju Babafemi, the commissioner for Women Affairs was present to grace the occasion.
