The members of staff of the Local Government Service Commission in Ekiti State on Monday celebrated its Permanent Secretary, Mrs Titilayo Toba-Ojo on her birthday.
The glamorous surprise birthday celebration was put together by the members of staff comprising Heads of Administration and Directors in the Commission.
In their separate goodwill messages, they said that Mrs Toba-Ojo is an astute leader, whose leadership acumen has taken the Commission to unprecedented levels.
On his part, Prince Adesuyi Aladesanmi, Commissioner in Charge of General Administration said she is a bridge builder between members of staff and the leadership of the Commission while praying that she attains the height of Head of Service in the near future.
Also, the Head of Local Government Administration, Training and Manpower Development, Mr. Yinka Borisade described the Permanent Secretary as one who has added value to his life since he met her 23 years ago.
Similarly, Mrs Bamigboye Taiwo, Director, General Administration prayed God to keep her as she ascends higher in her career, while describing her as very sincere, honest, friendly and down to earth.
Responding, the Permanent Secretary appreciated them for celebrating her while pledging to continue being a good administrator worthy of emulation.
Her words: “This one is bigger and I dont know how to describe it. There was no hint. I never knew they were planning anything like this. I’m so happy, amazed and elated. It is a real surprise package. I appreciate those people that put it together.
“I pray God in heaven will surprise them too. God will not allow me to disappoint them. I pray God to assist me to continue to impact positively to each and everyone of them.”
Highlights of the occasion are prayers to the celebrant, musical rendition, presentation of gifts, cutting of cake, testimonials while Prophet Komolafe Abiodun of Soul Winning For Christ Church, Ado-Ekiti showered powerful prayers on the celebrant.
