Excitement as Ekiti NUJ Secretary celebrates 10th wedding Anniversary

“We can go fast alone but we will go far together”. The above idea encompasses what marriage entails that is, one goes far with the right partner.

This is what the Secretary, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State, Mr. Kayode Babatuyi has come to understand which led him to pause, look back at his marriage history and what he saw justified the call for celebration of 10 years successful marriage life.

The Secretary of the Union is celebrating his 10th marriage anniversary with his beautiful wife, Mrs. Temitope Babatuyi, as they are blessed with 3 handsome boys.

According to the Secretary, “I couldn’t have married any other better woman because it takes more than just a woman to cope with me for 10 years. Not that I am a bad man, at least to an appreciable extent, I am an excellent husband but a perfectionist with propensity for high standard, hence, you got to go extra miles to satisfy me even in the other better room, he stated.

Part of the people that have come to celebrate with him concur that, Mr. Kayode have a reason to celebrate.

One of them is the chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalist, Mr. Rotimi Ojomoyela, he defined Mr. Babatuyi as a responsible man and a family man. In his words, “Kayode that I know he is a family man and a very responsible man at that. I wish him happy wedding anniversary”.

While his friend, Mr Niyi Alade described him as a family friend “He is not just a friend alone he is a family member, in that, his wife can call me to ask about his whereabout, same here, my wife can also call him to know my movement”.

Therefore, we can categorically tell that, the journey of a thousand mile is a product of a step, and the means to a profitable end is a product of chaste plan. Today, Mr Kayode has proven this with the enormous results of the matrimony journey he embarked a decade with his lovely wife.
