Succor came the way of persons living at the Ekiti State Relief and Rehabilitation Centre, Ado Ekiti, as members of the Christ Way Church Adebayo, Ado Ekiti on Sunday extended love to them.
The venerable persons could not hide their joy as some of the items donated by the church were shared among them.
Amos the items were clothes, foods, soap and cofectionaries.
Speaking at the centre, Pastor in charge of Christ Way Church, Adekunle Adewale said the gesture was an annual programme initiated by the church to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged as directed by God.
While expressing the readiness of the church to do more, Pastor Adewale called on well meaning individuals, corporate bodies and institutions to complement government’s efforts towards making life better for the persons by donating items that could improve their living standard.
Highpoint of the programme was a special prayer for people living in the centre while the word of God was also shared with them.
