The institution which was Established via degree number 24, 1975, and now Cap 3 of the constitution Federal Republic of Nigeria is focused on land valuations sales and management.

According to the Chairman, those who deal with non-licensed and unidentified individuals could fall into the hands of fraudsters. “We tell the public the right profession to give their money to when it comes to landed properties, management and paper appraisals; we are licensed by the government and qualified.

“We are to sensitise the whole world not only Nigeria because this day is given to us by the United Nations (UN). We want to tell the world what we do to promote the economy.” He added.

Also speaking with the state Secretary of NIESV, Mrs. Dunni Korede-Owa who doubles as the state head, Women Wing of the institution said landed properties are a different kind of property that is not supposed to be sold without establishing its value with reliable personnel.

“If you want to sell your property it is not like rice and beans that you place value, there are ways of doing it and only ESV can do it.

In regards to those who want to sell their properties and are unaware of whom to contact she said “ESV is a noble profession, the major work we do is to determine the value of a property and its management. We want the world to know that there is a profession called ESV and we are the only profession licensed to carry out valuations on landed property.” She stressed.
