ENGR. BAYO AJAYI DONATES 50 JERSEYS TO EKITI UNITED

Engr. Bayo Ajayi, a member of the BAO AGENDA 2026 Board of Trustees, has boost his support for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s second-term bid by donating 50 jerseys to the Ekiti United football team and its coaching crew. This contribution aligns with the group’s mission to empower citizens and enhance their quality of life in various sectors ahead of the upcoming election.

In addition to the jerseys, Ajayi provided ₦200,000 to support the team’s logistics, pledging to attend their matches as part of his ongoing commitment. During an interview with JIROLTV, Ajayi praised Governor Oyebanji as a leader deeply dedicated to the welfare of the people, highlighting the governor’s numerous community engagement initiatives and people-focused projects across the state.

Ajayi stressed the importance of collective effort in achieving development, noting that the responsibility cannot rest solely on state and federal governments. He commended Governor Oyebanji’s dedication to youth development through sports, pointing to the appointment of Dr. Olusola Osetoba as Special Adviser on Sports Development as a strategic move that reflects the governor’s vision.

In a related event, Ajayi pledged further support for local sports initiatives in Emure Ekiti, where he plans to donate additional jerseys and other resources for the upcoming Prof. Akin Oyebode Cup 2024. His contributions aim to inspire greater involvement in the community’s sporting activities, reinforcing the link between sports and youth empowerment.

Dr. Osetoba, who received the donations on behalf of the governor, lauded Ajayi’s efforts as both timely and impactful. She also presented him with a letter of nomination as the patron of Ekiti United football team, recognizing his invaluable support and passion for advancing youth development through sports in Ekiti State.
