Engr. Akomolafe Henrich Bankole Football Competition: MOC emerges, rolls out schedule

The Main Organizing Committee of the Engr. Akomolafe Henrich football competition has rolled out the plans for the competition scheduled to hold between November 2022 and January 2023 across the three local government areas that makes up the Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1.

In a release made available by the Main Organizing Committee, headed my Mr. Adewale Raji, he stated that registration at the local government level will begin on Friday, Nov. 11th and end Nov. 18th, while the draws will be held on between 20th and 21st Nov. at all the local government areas, as teams will know their foes ahead of the tourney.

He further revealed that the competition will be played at local government level while the winners at that level will square up against each other at the Federal Constituency level to determine the eventual winners of the competition.

  1. Registration of teams at the LG level: 11th – 18th Nov. 2022
  2. Draws at the LG level: 20th – 21st Nov. 2022
  3. Football preliminaries at the LG level: 22nd Nov – 13th Dec. 2022
  4. Quarterfinals at the LG level: 15th – 17th Dec. 2022
  5. Semi finals at the LG levels: 19th – 20th Dec. 2022
  6. Finals at the LG level: 22nd – 30th Dec. 2022
  7. Regurgitation of teams at the Federal Constituency 1 level: 2nd – 7th Jan. 2023
  8. Draws (Main final): 8th Jan. 2023
  9. Round robin for 3 LG teams ( Main final): 11th – 22nd Jan. 2023
  10. Final of ATUNKO CUP: to be determined by the sponsor
