ENGAGE IN REGULAR SEX, STOP ALCOHOL… EXPERT TELLS EKITI JOURNALISTS

As part of essential life style to live healthy, journalists in Ekiti State have been advised to engage in regular sex at least, three to four times a week.

A Public Health Physician with the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti, Dr. Opeyemi Abioye gave the advice during a health talk to mark the 2022 NUJ Press Week held at the NUJ Secretariat, Old Governor’s Office, Ado Ekiti.

According to him, regular sex is good for the body, as it helps the heart, regulate the blood and releases endophins which is essential for the body.

Though the expert recommended the need for journalists to socialize, he said such should be done without alcohol.

He noted that recent research has shown that alcohol has no single benefit for the body

Dr Abioye urged journalists to take plenty of water, eat fruits and engage in regular exercise.

Activities marking the NUJ press week continues tomorrow with a public lecture to be delivered by Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti.
