The former Deputy Governor of Ekiti, Professor Kolapo Olusola has dropped his ambition to contest in the forthcoming primary of the People’s Democratic Party for the seat of the Ekiti South Senatorial District.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ikere Ekiti, Professor Olusola said his decision to contest initially was based on the pressure from the former governor of the state, Ayo fayose whom he served under.
He added that his ex-principal,Fayose who openly endorsed his candidacy for the position was said to have supported another person secretly to contest the same senatorial seat.
