EKSUTH IS GETTING BETTER DAY BY DAY…CMD

The Chief Medical Director of the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, Professor Kayode Olabanji says the hospital has improved over the years in terms of health care delivery.

The Chief Medical Director who stated this while addresing newsmen in Ado Ekiti on the achievements of the hospital in Year 2023 noted that there was no crisis in the hospital as been speculated by some mischievous people.

Professor Olabanji who appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for creating enbling environment for both workers and patients in the teaching hospital through provision of necessary things to work with.

The CMD also commended the state Governor over the successful inauguration of Independent Power Project (IPP), which has helped the Hospital from struggling with high price of diesel.

“He has helped us with contributory pension scheme fund and he has been paying on monthly basis.”

“On Staff welfare, he noted that promotion arrears of about four years has been conducted while the one for 2023 will be completed before the end of the year”

“Early in May, Governor Biodun Oyebanji approved payment of hazard allowance to all categories of workers, both clerical and non-clerical.

Professor Oyebanji who commended the Chairman of EKSUTH Governing board on his expertise to rebrand the teaching hospital explained that the facility is ready to treat all patients irrespective of the nature of their ailments due to availability of experts and necessary facilities to attend to them.

According to him, the Intensive care unit of the hospital has recorded great succeses by saving lives of many people with critical ailments with the help of endoscopy and CT can machines.

“EKSUTH does not experience high rate mortality, we are not static , we are moving forward and getting better.
