The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary has been described as a rare grace for Christian believers to have eternal life and as well as a demonstration of God’ s power and love.
The Chief Medical Director of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospitals, Ado Ekiti, Professor Kayode Olabanji made the assertion in his goodwill message to the Christian community in the Hospital.
He noted that Jesus ‘ death and resurrection to serve humanity was the whole essence of Christianity, just as the Hospital deals with life.
He therefore charged the medical personnel to emulate Jesus Christ by sharing love, kindness and empathy to patients while discharging their duties.
The CMD who acknowledged the effort of Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji at taking EKSUTH to the next level, urged members of staff to reciprocate the Governor’s good gesture by being more dedicated while delivering quality health services to the people of Ekiti State as Health is Wealth.
Furthermore, the EKSUTH boss said all citizens should note that the Hospital operates day and night on 24 hours basis to attend to people’s health needs . He therefore called on all and sundry to avail themselves of the opportunity for regular health check.
Prof. Olabanji prayed for immeasurable joy and hope for everyone and protection for all staff from harm in the course of performing their duties effectively.
