The management of the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) has said its new Vice Chancellor, Professor Babatola Ayodele is not involved in any social media business.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Head, Directorate of Information & Corporate Affairs, Bode Olofinmuagun.
The statement stated that the owner of the account has been using the handle to interact with individuals disgusting as the brand new VC of the institution.
The statement reads, “It has come to the notice of the Vice Chancellor – Designate, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Professor Babatola Ayodele that somebody has opened a Facebook account on his name and picture to interract with unsuspecting individuals.
“We wish to emphasize that the EKSU Vice Chancellor – designate is not in any way involved in the new Facebook account.
“As such, members of the public should be careful and wary of such fraudster having the intent of duping unsuspected members of the public.
“Members of the public are hereby advised to refrain from transacting any business whatsoever on the social media under the guise of engaging Professor Babatola Ayodele”.
