Bid Eddy olanipekun farewell
The Joint Action Committee of the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, EKSU, known as JAC III has congratulated Prof. Joseph Babatola Ayodele on his appointment as the new Vice Chancellor of the university.
JAC III comprises, Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU).
Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji had on Monday approved the appointment of Prof. Ayodele as the new EKSU VC.
In a statement jointly signed by Aguda Temidayo Azeez, SSANU Chairman; Ogunmokun Olayinka Julianah, SSANU Secretary; Olajutemu Sunday Kola, NASU Chairman; Adebolu Aderemi, NASU Secretary; Adeosun Omolade Mary, Chairman NAAT; and Adamolekun Maxwell Abiodun, Secretary NAAT, the union leaders described the appointment of Professor Ayodele as thoughtful.
hoping that the new VC will take the institution to enviable heights.
They called on the new VC to discharge his duties effectively for the growth and development of the institution noting that the entire EKSU community are desirous for effective and qualitative leadership under his watch.
The union leaders promised to cooperate with the administration of the new VC and propose initiatives that would raise the bar of the institution.
While bidding the incumbent VC, Professor Olanipekun farewell, the EKSU union leaders hailed the Governor for deeming it fit to appoint Prof. Ayodele as the new EKSU VC.
