Ekiti State Government has commended the State Advocacy Group working on the Global Fund C-19RM/RSSH Grant for its efforts at sustaining the health system of the state.
Executive Secretary, Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Gilbert Ayodele Seluwa gave the commendation in Ado Ekiti while receiving the Advocacy team in his office.
Dr. Seluwa said the C-19RM/RSSH project is a very feasible idea which must be supported.
He promised his readiness to support the initiative.
Dr. Seluwa also promised to use his office and personal goodwill to facilitate support from some notable personalities within the Ekiti South West Local Government area of the state where he hails from.
Speaking at meeting the Executive Director, Environmental Development and Family Health Organization EDFHO, Sir Olu Ogunrotimi expresses happiness over the positive response to the project.
Corroborating the Chairman Sir, Ogunrotimi, Mr, Benson who is the TB Coordinator, advised government to extend retirement age of health workers so as to address the acute shortage of personnel.
