Report just reaching Roundoffnews says, a young man name withheld has stabbed his neighbor to death.
The incident occurred on Thursday at Awedele area of Ado Ekiti at about seven O’clock in the morning.
Roundoffnews gathered that the suspect stabbed the deceased with a sharp knife during a fight within the compound.
Witnesses said the suspect had a disagreement with his girlfriend who was living with him over a certain amount of money and the suspect in his usual manner began to assault the lady.
The neighbor who was not comfortable with the act intervened and made attempt to repremand the suspect a situation that led to a physical combat from where the deceased was stabbed in his hand.
Though he was rushed to the hospital he gave up the ghost because the knife had cut a sensitive vein connected to his heart.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer, Ekiti State Police Command, DSP Sunday Abutu said the suspect had been arrested for further investigation.
