EKITI:COMMUTERS LAMENT INCESSANT GRIDLOCK ON POLY ROAD

Motorists and commuters plying the Odo-Ado-Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti route have called on Governor Biodun Oyebanji to see to the incessant traffic congestion witnessed on the road.

Those who spoke with Roundoffnews said the situation of the road especially recently was becoming unbearable as they often spend hours on daily basis before getting to their destination.

According to them, the road is too narrow for the volume of vehicle plying it at a time.

They called on government to extend the road so as to bring succour to residents of the area and those working in the axis..

One of the commuters who was stranded for hours in the lock jam, Mr. Azeez Aina said there were two tertiary institutions in the area hence the increase in human and vehicular movement.

He noted dualization of the road would bring a lasting end to the difficulty experienced on daily basis.
